IWMI Strategy 2024-2030: ‘Research and Innovation for Water Security’

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) is a remarkable charity which, through interdisciplinary collaboration and research for development, aims to transform water management and security in a bid to improve social and economic development.

Earlier this year, I had the honour of collaborating with the brilliant graphic design agency Mercer Design in contributing the below illustration for IWMI’s latest strategy report: ‘Research and Innovation for Water Security’. This report focuses on three areas: mitigating water risks; overcoming global inequalities; and managing water sustainably. The graphic I produced specifically highlights the impact of water in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and can be viewed fully on pages 8-9.
